The IBEW Local 455 annual scholarships have been awarded for the 2009- 2010 school year.

Ashley Smith, daughter of WMECO lineman Bill Smith and Heather Minott, daughter of ISO New England System Operator Marshall Minott have been awarded this years scholarships.

Annually the local awards two $500.00 scholarships to the sons or daughters of local members, who are high school seniors.

The scholarships are awarded based on tests scores. The tests are administered by the Massachusetts AFL-CIO and given at the high schools of the applicants.

Applications will be available for next years scolarships in December, and will be available through your executive board member or here on the website.
